Dream Theater

I would say my first one is The Spirit Carries On.

When my Grandad passed away 2 months ago it helped me to think, where is he gone? is he okay now? etc.

My second song for when I was younger was Finally Free, helped me get over a couple of ex's lol!!

The song worked very well and cheering me up.

Last but not least, Surrounded. The way James sings that sends me shivers down my spine, it's so beautiful.


What about anyone else? What songs make you're day?!

I don't know about anyone else, but when I watch Dream Theater Live, their music gives me emotion inside.

Quite a few of their songs have helped me in my life, from meeting you're first gf, (getting over her etc)

and just looking at the brighter side of life, I must say, I know this sounds cheesy, but all their beautiful ballads really get to me.

Such beautiful music, one of a kind band, and I hope they carry on.

I've been to many tours with different bands, but Dream Theater. They are something different and unique !!

Can't wait to see them again.

Do you think they will come on tour back to the UK again??

I've noticed that John Petrucci has played different guitar solos for the beginning of The Spirit Carries On at different venues.

It's amazing, they are all beautiful, I don't know if anyone else noticed.

But I went to see them in Wembley Arena and the guitar solo John played really did set my heart off.

I filmed it on my iPhone and I listen to it every night. Has a powerful meaning.

These guys on tour are just outstanding.
