My heart goes to the dead and wounded of Boston. My heart goes to all my friends living there. Bostonians are resilient people and without any doubt they will endure this and emerge stronger and confident.
My wishes for the best to The Hub.
My list would be as follows:
1.- Dream Theater: Systematic chaos.
2.- The Beatles: Abbey Road.
3.- Bob Dylan: Blonde on blonde.
4.- Genesis:The lamb lies down on Broadway.
5.- King crimson: Starless and bible black.
6.- Led Zeppelin: IV
7.- Pink Floyd: Wish you were here.
8.- Queen: A night at the opera.
9.- Rush: Moving pictures.
10.- Maria Callas: La Divina 1. (I know, but sometimes you need to sow down a bit, right?).
Well, that's it. What would you take with you?
How many of you have the 12 step suite, (The Glass Prison, This Dying Soul, The Root of All Evil, Repentance and The Shattered Fortress) on your MP3 player or have burned it onto a CD? I read a Portnoy`s interview stating that the next tour would've included playing the whole upcoming production, (supposedly a concept album), and the 12 step songs. Geeeeeeeeee, it would've been awesome.
We mexicans had quite an entertaining night last saturday. Before DT´s show we had a pretty good earthquake. Maybe it was that we were all really excited about seeing the guys live after a few years, maybe it was the beer, the thing is that no one made a big fuss about the shaky-bumpy pre-show. Dunno. Do you have an interesting story to share regarding anything happening, before, during or after a DT´s concert? If so, please share ;)
So, which one's the song you think should never, ever be left out of a DT's live set? Which song is the one you wait for the whole concert and once you hear the first notes, the beginning you get the tiny, little hairs on the back of you head stand up and get goosebumps? Mine? I think would be This dying soul or The Ytse jam...
Have a great show!!! I know I will here in Mexico city ;)
