You skipped Vegas last year and you're skipping it again this summer? Really?
What about Albuquerque?
You're playing these same cities again?:
Boston
Chicago
San Francisco
Los Angeles
Austin
Houston
Anaheim
Washington, DC
Detroit (Royal Oak)
New York city area
This summer 2012 tour is 43% repeat markets (10 out of 23). What the hell Dream Theater? Why are you skipping major areas you haven't played yet and playing the same ones again?
Ridiculous.
DT, thank you for a triumphant return to the Phoenix, Arizona area. It was a magnificent show, and we really appreciate you playing here. Thanks to Danny Zelisko as well for his involvement.
We hope you'll consider another stop here in the Spring, or possibly to our neighbors to the south in Tucson.
Again, great show and looking forward to more in the future!
Who is running this site? 2 more US dates have been confirmed
12/1 San Diego
12/4 Phoenix
We've known about them for days, tickets for Phoenix go on sale Monday. Why hasn't the tour page been updated? I can imagine there might be some unhappy fans who miss out here... get on the ball!
Looks like a Western December run is shaping up!
12/1 San Diego (ticketmaster)
12/4 Mesa (Phoenix, AZ) (Danny z's site)
Vegas, Denver keep your eyes open!
DT hasn't played Phoenix since 2007, except as an opener for IM, which was more their schedule than yours.
Phoenix is the 6th largest metro area in the country. A huge metal/rock town. DT has always played a headlining set here since the I & W tour and usually to capacity crowds. In the past year we've had Rush, Priest, Crue, Symphony X, Kamelot... even this little band called Adrenaline Mob have played here.
Yet once again, for the 3rd time, DT are skipping Phoenix.
Why? Is their bad blood between you and the promoters? Do you just not like it here? Are they not paying enough?
We understood the first prog nation, we accepted it in 2009 because you said you be here in the Spring - which didn't happen.
But this is getting ridiculous. I don't expect an answer, but just be aware you have thousands of fans here in Arizona between Phoenix & Tucson that would love to see you perform a headlining set.
