- "Infinite Dreams", the official Greek Dream Theater Fan Club, will be sending out the Christmas CD and first issue of their fanzine in a week. Members should receive them the first week of February.
- The Italian Dreamers fanclub will be sending the Christmas CDs to their members next week. Members should receive their fanzine and Christmas CD at the end of January, or the first week of February at the latest. There will be a big contest for the Italian Dream Theater shows in April.
Official Dream Theater fanclub members can expect their fanzine and Christmas CD in the first half of January, 2000. Due to a delay with the pressing of the CDs, it will unfortunately not be possible to meet the "Christmas deadline". Don't worry, it'll be well worth the wait!
After nearly six years of succesfully running the Dream Theater International Fanclub Neil Elliott has decided time has come to move on to pastures new.
As a result, the entire fanclub set up will from now on be dealt with by us, the Dutch fanclub "Theater Of Dreams". Although the fanzine's name will be changed into "Theater Of Dreams", there's no need for current subscribers of "Images And Words" to worry. The fanclub's name will remain Dream Theater International Fanclub and we will honour all existing subscriptions. You will not miss out on the number of issue's that you are subscribed to. If you are a member of both fanclubs, we will put the number of issues you paid for together and change your membership accordingly. Our fanzine will be in English, on A5 sized glossy paper and in full colour. "The best fuckin' DT fanzine in the world", according to Mike, so there you go.
Our address is
P.O Box 1597
2003 BP Haarlem

We thank Dream Theater for their trust in us and of course Neil for his dedication, time and efforts he put into the creation of the D.T.I.F.C and for the good collaboration. Although we will undoubtedly stay in touch for a while we'd like to say: "Thanks a lot! We wish you lots of success in the future. Gonna miss you, bro'!"
"Frontman James LaBrie recently spoke with Space In Your Face radio on CKMS in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario regarding DREAM THEATER's touring plans in support of their latest epic, Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory: "What we want to do in the new year, we want to go out with a huge production and because this is a concept album, we want to play it from beginning to end, the way a concept album should be played, and have it unfold, have imagery, have screens, and everything going on. So I'm kinda hitting our booking agents over the head and saying, 'you know, make it happen', so we'll see. And then we're gonna go basically everywhere in the world and present the album in that way". James also stated his goal is to bring the tour to Massey Hall in Toronto in the new year, the perfect venue for such an anticipated performance.
Metal Maniacs magazine will be featuring Dream Theater in their upcoming March 2000 issue, which will be on-sale starting December 21st, 1999.

Darren "The Badger" Redick will be dedicating an hour of his radio show to "Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes From A Memory" on Wednesday, November 3rd, from 10 pm GMT (5 pm EST) on the internet radio station Rock Radio Network.
The show will be interspersed with an interview with James LaBrie, recorded by phone on Friday, October, 22nd. James will also be talking about his Mull Muzzler project.
On Tuesday, October 26th, 1999 (the release date of "Scenes From A Memory"), Dream Theater (minus John Petrucci) will be doing an autograph session at Sam Goody in the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, LI. This event will take place between 6 and 8pm. John Petrucci won't be able to be there, since he is giving a guitar clinic in Italy that day.
Later that evening, the band (once again, without John Petrucci) will be doing a "Full Disclosure" live chat on Yahoo!/Sonicnet, to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding the band's new release.
