The Official Dream Theater Fanclubs have decided to print more copies of the 1999 Fanclub Christmas CD.

This means you will still have a chance to receive this free exclusive CD, even if you didn't join or renew before December 31st, 1999.

In order to receive the 1999 Christmas CD, make sure you join or renew BEFORE February 29th, 2000. This means the fanclub MUST HAVE RECEIVED your information and payment BEFORE February 29th, 2000.

Please do NOT wait until the last minute, but send in your information and payment as soon as possible.

- "Infinite Dreams", the official Greek Dream Theater Fan Club, will be sending out the Christmas CD and first issue of their fanzine in a week. Members should receive them the first week of February.

- The Italian Dreamers fanclub will be sending the Christmas CDs to their members next week. Members should receive their fanzine and Christmas CD at the end of January, or the first week of February at the latest. There will be a big contest for the Italian Dream Theater shows in April.

Here is a message from the Dream Theater International Fan Club:

On October 14th Dream Theater will play the Maaspoort in Den Bosch Holland. Prior to their gig we are currently organizing a convention that will take place from 1 PM until 6 PM (doors close at 5 PM!), also in the Maaspoort. It will be a pleasant gathering of fans. The total program is still under construction, but so far we can tell you that there will be a mini Metal Market, where you can buy interesting CDs and stuff we will show interesting Dream Theater material on the video screens in the Maaspoort foyer (with bar, snackbar, restaurant), Anomaly (see review in the coming fanzine) will play from 4 PM until 5 PM. EVERY HOUR WE WILL DRAW LUCKY WINNERS OF BACKSTAGE PASSES, THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO MEET DREAM THEATER DURING A SPECIAL MEET & GREET AFTER THE SHOW!

as a DTIFC member you will pay 5 guilders entrance (normal price is 10 guilders)
as a DTIFC member you will get a sticker, that later on allows you to have access to the main venue before the doors open to the public

IMPORTANT! Make sure you bring the voucher you'll find in the coming fanzine. It will be your proof of membership and the only way to get the reduction price and the sticker, but only in combination with your concert-ticket! We don't accept photo-copies or other than the original voucher that you will have to cut out of the page.

The Official Greek Dream Theater Fan Club is organizing a Dream Theater Party on Thursday the 13th of July -just a day before Dream Theater's show at RockWave Festival with Iron Maiden- in Athens. The Party will take place at the Club "REVENGE OF ROCK" -OFRR- (34 Alexandras Aven.). Guest DJ for this night will be SAKIS FRAGOS from the Greek Metal Magazine 'Metal Invader'. Whoever will attend the Party will have the opportunity to listen to rare music material of the band!

as every year, Italian Dreamers Fan Club has organized the 4th DT Party in Italy.

This party will be in Rome the day before DT Show, on 10 april at the "H.M. Rock Cafe"

The name of this party is "Scenes from a Night" and it will start at 9:00 Pm to late night with two live shows, the band will be Abstracta and Zen.

During the night there will be some videos on a megascreen and some contest for all the people

"Frontman James LaBrie recently spoke with Space In Your Face radio on CKMS in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario regarding DREAM THEATER's touring plans in support of their latest epic, Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory: "What we want to do in the new year, we want to go out with a huge production and because this is a concept album, we want to play it from beginning to end, the way a concept album should be played, and have it unfold, have imagery, have screens, and everything going on. So I'm kinda hitting our booking agents over the head and saying, 'you know, make it happen', so we'll see. And then we're gonna go basically everywhere in the world and present the album in that way". James also stated his goal is to bring the tour to Massey Hall in Toronto in the new year, the perfect venue for such an anticipated performance.

Darren "The Badger" Redick will be dedicating an hour of his radio show to "Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes From A Memory" on Wednesday, November 3rd, from 10 pm GMT (5 pm EST) on the internet radio station Rock Radio Network.

The show will be interspersed with an interview with James LaBrie, recorded by phone on Friday, October, 22nd. James will also be talking about his Mull Muzzler project.
