I guess we are all listening to the new album, A Dramatic Turn of Events. In my opinion, songs are great. My points for the songs are:

On the Backs of Angels - 8/10

Build Me Up, Break Me Down - 7/10

Lost Not Forgotten - 9.5/10 (So POWERFUL)

This Is The Life - 8/10

Bridges In The Sky - 9/10 (Chorus=Nirvana)

Outcry - 8/10

Far From Heaven - 7/10

Breaking All Illusions - 10/10 (Absolutely Brilliant)

Beneath The Surface - 7/10

I wanted to learn your opinion, I would be happy if you grade the songs, or at least tell your favourites.

So far my favorites are Outcry, LNF, BAI.
Far From Heaven is very sadly lyrically to me, I like it so much. Can make me cry :)
I love This is the Life, although it's a mellow song it's interesting melodically

Breaking All Illusions is the standout. Awesome. Amazing. Astounding. I don't have any more A alliterations to describe it! :)
John Myung should write more often.

Bridges in the Sky, Outcry, Beneath the Surface, and Far From Heaven are my other favourites.

Far From Heaven - 8.5 (for some reason I keep picturing this song as part of a montage in a movie soundtrack)
Breaking All Illusions - 9.5 (love JP's solo)
Beneath the Surface - 8 (great vocals, just a little slow for me)

Overall, ADTOE is super solid from top to bottom
