@Rkeister: You're lucky, i have been with my wife for 8 years now and i still cannot get her to like DT, she calls it noise and Devil music. Hmmmm, at least I can listen to Whitesnake with her and a couple of A7X songs.

Here I am, from Italy. I really love them, in particular the voice of James that I've dreamed lots of times. And, as a pianist, I usually spend my free time studying Jordan's solos; I hope one day I'll be virtuoso like him..

Im a woman and i like them although people are surprised that im also kind of a geek lol i am not a musician although i wish i were! I love DT's music and lyrics they speak to me personally. I think it would be really cool if they did a futurama episide!! That would be awsome!! :D

I know how you feel, Lou, a guy I worked with was shocked when I told him my favorite band was DT. He was surprised I even knew who they were, much less be a female who liked them!! And get this, my boyfriend would never know who they were if it weren't for me(not that he listens to them anyway!!).

Well, I am one of their biggest fans and even had meeting them on my bucket list! Well, I met them in Austin and had the bewst night of my life - By the way, I am a 60 year old great-grandmother!!!!

I am indeed female, at an age of 15, and have been a DT fan for..almost 2 years now. It's not a huge amount of time..but I am a HUGE fan..a MASSIVE fan. I don't know what I'd do without Dream Theater and their music in my life. Seeing them earlier this year with my Dad was just the best day of my life so far. They are, and always will be, my favorite band. ♥

I have been a fan of DT for about seven years, and now at the age of 62! i realise that i have been looking for a band like them for many years now, going back to the early days of the Who, Jimi Hendrix, Genesis and Yes.
The reason i started this post is that it seems to me most female music fans don't like music that involves a lot of instrumental parts and changes of tempo, but i am pleased to see that there are some girls both young and old with a passion for DT.

P S if DT ever split that will be the end of my music life.
