Dream Theater

Anyone know what's going on with the Chester, PA show? Apparently according to Ticketmaster the tickets are no longer on sale and it says show cancelled? Is it being moved somewhere else? Major bummer as I'm flying out from Denver for the show.

I find it strange that the band has made NO official statement regarding this sudden venue change as of yet. I purchased my ticket through VIP Nation, and I've yet to receive any email from them. I'm a little irritated to say the least. I was really look forward to this show, as it was going to be my first time meeting the band.

Your original tickets will not be valid for entry into the Ceasars Atlantic City event. New tickets with comparable seating will be waiting for you at the Ceasars Atlantic City Box Office.

What do you need to do?

To get your new tickets, you must present your original Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack tickets at the Ceasars Atlantic City Box Office. Ceasars Atlantic City indoor arena box office is located at in front of the Circus Maximus Theater located at Caesars Atlantic City 2100 Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City, NJ 08401. You can pick them up on the day of the event starting at 4PM. You’ll need the following items to claim your tickets; please don’t leave home without them!

• Your picture ID
• Your Ticketmaster order number.
• The credit card used to purchase the tickets

Need a refund? We'll refund your order, including fees (except UPS and InStore Pick Up, if applicable).


Refunds
• If your method of delivery was TicketFast, Paperless, or Will Call tickets, just reply to this email by July 19th by 5PM include the last four digits of the credit card used for purchase, the order number, and the name on the account, and we'll take care of it for you!


• If you got your tickets by mail or UPS, please mail them to the following address along with the name and address on the account, Ticketmaster order number, and daytime telephone number:

For all you VIP ticket holders, I called VIP Nation today, and they said that they're still waiting to hear from the band's management about this situation. VERY unprofessional on the part of DT if you ask me. Not too happy right now.

I was also wondering about the 'apples for apples' seating...
Will we have very similar seating or not so much.

We've all spent a lot of $$ for the seats we thought we were getting at the Chester venue.
And to try to make it to another show at this point, and get good seats in the NY venues isn't gonna happen.

Guess we're stuck, but I'm gonna try and love the show anyways.

VIPnation updated my order to AC, and their website now says Atlantic City for purchases. I think VIPnation dropped the ball, not DT. Because although they made the changes, they have NEVER contacted me to tell me
(and still haven't sent any email or anything.) I went on my order and found it myself, and called them to verify everything was okay with the change.

Well, I'm certainly glad I didn't book my flight yet, I was getting all set to fly into Philly. I'm doing VIP, too, but haven't checked my e-mail yet. I mean if I was renting a car, AC is nothing to get down there from Philly but I was planning on taking Septa to Harrah's. Making this a really cheap trip!!!
